If you enter ratings for stories you’ve read, Hypatia will recommend other stories that you will like. The more ratings you enter, the better the recommendations.

Hypatia is named after the gifted scholar who was the first woman to make a substantial contribution to the development of mathematics. This exclusive proprietary recommending tool continues to grow in knowledge and accuracy, with nearly 100,000 titles and the combined inputs of over two million reader responses. Each recommendation comes with a confidence level so you know when Hypatia’s sure, or making an educated guess. Here’s how it works:

Rate Stories When you enter story ratings, Hypatia learns about your reading likes and dislikes. To assist with your ratings, we’ve developed a Rating Table to help guide you.

Get Recommendations
If you’ve rated at least forty stories, Hypatia will create a personalized recommended reading list, selected just for you. You can then shop online for one of Hypatia’s picks.

Search
Finally, if you’ve got a particular story or author in mind, you can always search to find it.
